NEW YORK CITY UNDERGROUND
A few weeks ago, my friend, Jose and I were making color analogies for fashion in each country. For example, black for France, neutrals for Sweden, white for Noord-Holland, rainbow for Japan. Finally, we get to New York, and we decided gray and navy were definitely NYC colors. Of course, one would initially agree that New York is a gray abode of fashion being bold, edgy, and/or conservative. However, behind the scenes of "New York City fashion" is what I like to call, color. Underneath the gray and navy, is our youth dressing up and giving themselves an unique identity. But, most importantly giving ourselves depth to what I personally call "New York City Underground." So, behind the scenes of New York Fashion Week, Milk Studios, MET Museum, and Fashion Avenue, is a colorful scene of adolescents and artists. Without this, my inspiration for anything would simply be lacking and dull.

By the way, these photos were all taken and edited by Jose Camacho. He's an amazing blogger,  and friend. This was actually @ a party I hosted with a close friend of mine. I had initially planned on taking photos myself, however, I was so busy trying to attend to my own party. So, it's pretty lame that I had to take photos from someone else. I also feel bad that I have been soooo MIA from blogging. The party was actually the main (lame) reason why I haven't been blogging. I definitely need to learn the art of balancing. More to come!
